Hocus Pocus

Share It:
Halloween isn't just for children. Plan a spelltacular dinner for the adults by creating a bold table with touches of Halloween whimsy.

Try finding creative uses for items you have, including flatware, plates, etc.

Black goblets with a gold rim add a wicked flair.

Halloween salad plates add a necessary pop of color to your table.

Gold chargers and flatware add elegance to your place settings.

A bold, chevron tablecloth ties everything together.

As a centerpiece, try adding a lantern or vase filled with candy corn.

A Spooktacular Halloween

Who ever said that there wasn't a chic way to do Halloween décor? The key? Acquire several key pieces that compliment your personal style. This Halloween spread gives the vibe of a modern apothecary's lair.

Incorporate some spooky elements into your overall décor.

Apothecary jars filled with spiders and chocolate eyeballs are an inexpensive way to bring in the Halloween spirit.

Crystal skull candleholders add an edge while a bat print add the air of a scientist's chambers.

A hammered metal tray and glittery black candles add the final touch!

Welcome Home

Share It:
Our darling friend, Joanne, moved into a new apartment. We prepared a housewarming gift to help her celebrate this lovely moment.

We decided to give her a traditional housewarming gift, inspired by the classic Capra film It's a Wonderful Life.

The gift consists of a loaf of bread, sea salt, and a bottle of wine. Place these items in a pretty container. We chose a wire basket that we purchased at home goods. For a splash of color, add a tea towel and some flowers.

Most importantly, finish with a little note quoting the film that explains the significance of the items in the basket.

Bread so that this house may never know hunger

Salt so that life may always have flavor

Wine that joy and prosperity may reign forever

What could be better than wishing someone joy, prosperity, flavor and freedom from want in their new home?

HAPPY GIFTING!!!

XOXO,

Anna & Natalie
